Moon Rocks
We have been learning about Space this term.  Yesterday we made our very own Moon Rocks!
They felt... smooth, sticky and soft.

Next time we may need to try a different recipe!

Yesterday Fireman Matt came and talked to us about fire safety.  We all learnt a lot about how to what do do in a fire.

Shut the door to the room where the fire is.
GET DOWN, GET LOW, GET OUT FAST.
Go to your meeting place... the letter box is a great place to choose.

First we washed them.
Next we cut them into little pieces.
After that we put them into a pot.
The we added some hot water and a little bit of salt.
To cook them we put the pot on the element and turned it on.
We waited until the potatoes got soft.
Las of all we ate them.  They tasted YUM!

This afternoon as part of learning social skills, the children have been working in small groups to build something.  They had to work together by talking and discussing their creations.

We made a house and shops.  There are cars and castles.
Tulitua and Tiranta.


This is a zoo.  And it has an Elephant with seats and a table.  And we had a truck to put a mirror and a bag so the people can ride to it.

We built a jungle.  We have cars and then we put the horse behind the person.
Kody and Mark.


We were building a colour playground with a zoo.  And we put some princesses in it and her name is Miss McCulloch.

All of us made a boosting motor bike, a plane and a crab cycle.

Today we learnt how to play '21'.
